| Description: | The computer science course in the education system is becoming increasingly important at the expense of widespread computerization. It requires continuous improvement of computer literacy of students, as it subsequently becomes acomputer literacy of our society. The use of the latest information technologies by teachers of computer science in their professional activities is consider in the article. The main advantages and disadvantages of using free office packages in teaching computer science are considered. The expediency of using the OpenOffice cross-platform office suite is reasonable |
